Father's Day March arrives, and at Menagar we begin preparing the gift for one of the most celebrated days worldwide, Father's Day.

It is a very special day in which we want our little ones to give a gift to their fathers to express how much they love them, even though the love they have for them is endless.

At Menagar, we hope you have a wonderful Father's Day and that you enjoy the gifts our little ones have prepared for you with the help of the teachers.

Hygiene protocol

We would like to inform you that, in addition to the hygiene measures that we have been regularly adopting at the centre, we have reinforced these measures by disinfecting our entire centre and developing a preventive hygiene action protocol. At Menagar, as one of the most prestigious nursery schools in the Community of Madrid , we always seek quality education for your children.

Hygiene protocol

  • If your temperature is over 37.5º you will be informed privately and confidentially so that you can argue and/or prove whether the fever may be due to another reason; otherwise you will not be allowed into the centre.
  • To enter and leave the school, it is mandatory to walk over the disinfectant mats, both for people and for strollers (when their entry into the center is permitted).
  • Avoid touching your face, eyes, nose, mouth. If you cough or sneeze, protect yourself with your elbow flexed.
  • Disposable materials such as bibs, handkerchiefs, wipes, etc. will be used and will be thrown away after use.
  • Maintain a safe distance, following the guidelines set by the center’s staff.
  • Implementation of digital agenda.

Cleaning and hygiene measures at school

  • “Handstec” sanitizing towers have been installed with gloves, wipes, gel and hairnets.
  • Using a remote infrared thermometer to take temperature.
  • Cleaning of all linen in the centre and sealing to ensure its protection until use.
  • Daily ventilation of each and every space in the centre, for at least 5 minutes every hour.
  • Cleaning of toilets and bathrooms will be intensified, with cleaning three times a day. Soap, paper towel or hydroalcoholic gel dispensers will be available in all bathrooms.
  • Disinfectant hydrogels in each of the centre’s rooms. Intended for use in keeping hands as clean as possible.
  • Daily cleaning of screens and glass.
  • Cleaning doorknobs and doorbells after each use.
  • Daily and frequent cleaning of the office and space designated for serving families, including chairs, tables, telephones, computers, stair railings, etc.
  • Daily cleaning of all school furniture, tatami mats and toys. We will pay special attention to cleaning floors, using products that guarantee their hygiene and are not harmful to children.
  • In the park, only school toys will be used, previously disinfected and washed, after each use, they will be cleaned and prepared for the next day.
  • The waste bins will be emptied frequently and if they have contained organic waste, the bag will also be changed.
  • Waste bins will be disinfected daily.
  • All covers for hammocks, chairs and fabric toys should be washed at the indicated temperature to remove any trace of residue.
  • Changing tables will be disinfected every day, with special care.
  • Use of industrial dishwasher “LC Industrial 1500”.

Hygiene and safety measures for families

  • All children who walk must have a pair of shoes that they will use exclusively inside the school.
  • Nappies, wipes, follow-up milk, etc. delivered to school must be in their original packaging. Open packages cannot be collected. Once inside, each package will be disinfected.
  • Maintain a safe distance whenever possible when picking up and dropping off children.
  • Each family will be responsible for disinfecting the sheet, bib or bottle that is given to them by the school.

Hygiene and safety measures for the center's staff

  • Workers cannot come to the school wearing their work uniform. They must change when they arrive at the school, taking into account the time needed to carry out all the cleaning measures (use of hydroalcoholic gel or, failing that, thorough hand washing, etc.)
  • The use of gloves will be limited to handling food, diaper changes and cleaning tasks. It is not recommended to use them all day.
  • A list of telephone numbers to call in case of emergency will be established.
  • All staff at the centre must be aware of the guidelines and protocol established by the centre’s management. They must sign the receipt of the same.
  • The center’s management will inform about the guidelines and new protection and security measures established.
  • The worker must keep his work uniform extremely clean. Keep your hair tied back, keep your nails short (and unpainted); it is absolutely necessary to maintain absolute hygiene.
  • Keep your hands clean by washing them frequently with water and specific disinfectant soap.
  • The changing table will be disinfected after each use. Likewise, after a child uses the bathroom, the teacher will disinfect it.
  • Do not share glasses, cutlery, or exchange any personal items (pens, phones, etc.). Since each classroom has its own phone, sharing is prohibited.
  • Only one person is allowed in the kitchen and must wear a protective hat and gloves to handle any food.
  • Disposable napkins will be used to clean the faces of children in the dining room, thus avoiding the use of bibs. If disposable bibs are used, they may be used only once.
  • Each child will have his/her own sheet, which will be given to each family at least once a week to be washed and disinfected properly.
  • The bottles used daily will be returned to the families every day for sterilization, as well as the bibs. Dirty clothes cannot be left at the center.
  • Backpacks will be delivered to families every day, without exception.
  • All children who walk must have a pair of shoes that they will use exclusively inside the school. Before going out to the playground, they will walk over the disinfectant mat and at the entrance to the playground, the same. Afterwards, they will put on the shoes intended for use inside the school.
  • After using the toilet, each person who has used it will disinfect it.
